About the WSTC
The Walk Study Training Course is a 6 week class that pairs texts (readings, films, whale sounds) with a weekly group walk. The WSTC is for walking enthusiasts: urban planners, community organizers, geographers, poets, artists, athletes, and others.

Our fall course focused on the idea of “Spatial Relationships” and includes works by Shannon Jackson, Edmund Husserl, Gary Snyder, Sergio Chejfec, and the film Girl Walk // All Day. The course will take place entirely within Brooklyn’s Sunset Park, and will result in a public engagement with the neighborhood, created by participants.
